Admiral Driving School offers the 3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Education Program, also known as the Safe and Sober program. Individuals holding an out-of-country license are required by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) to successfully complete this program, along with a vision screening, knowledge test, and driving skills test, in order to receive a Maryland License.
Our 3-hour drug and alcohol course is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30am and 2:30pm. We also are currently offering this course online. Contact Admiral Driving School today to enroll or to receive more information.

What To Expect
Drug and alcohol use is more rampant among drivers than most realize. This drug and alcohol education course covers US driving laws and safe driving behaviors as well as the consequences and risks associated with driving under the influence.
The program consists of several modules. Once complete, participants will receive a certificate which will be required to take the final exam at a verified testing center. Once the final exam is completed and passed, participants will receive the necessary documentation required by the MVA to receive their Maryland driver's license.

Our 3-Hour Alcohol and Drug course is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:30am and 2:30pm. The address for Admiral Driving School is 2277 Bel Pre Road, Suite 205, Silver Spring, MD 20906. Class locations, date, and times are subject to change.
What do course participants need to bring to class?
Students taking the 3-Hour Alcohol and Drug Program will need to bring their out-of-country license, another form of identification, and the course payment. If the out-of-country license is not in English, it must be accompanied by an International License or translated into English by an MVA-approved translator.
How do I register and pay for the class?
Contact us or download our application form and fill it out to register. You can bring the form with you in person before starting the 3-Hour Drug and Alcohol Program. For payment, you may bring the $80 course with you on the first day of class. Admiral Driving School in Silver Spring accepts cash-only for this course.
What happens if I miss a day of class, or if I can't attend a day?
In the event you become ill and must leave the class, Admiral Driving School can reschedule for another class date that is convenient for you!
